Chilipepper On-Demand Hot Water Recirculating Pump & Kit

A Chilipepper is the Ideal Solution for Anyone Trying to Conserve Water, Keep Their Water Costs Under Control, or Anyone Who Just Wants the Convenience of Almost-Instant Hot Water!

A Small, Powerful Pump that Eliminates the Need to Run the Faucet for Several Minutes to Get Hot Water. The high-power Chilipepper pump circulates hot water from the water heater to the sink or shower, Quickly Bringing Hot Water for use. Most homes only need one Chilipepper for the whole house! This is because the Chilipepper can usually supply hot water to any other fixtures along the line prior to the point of installation.

A Chilipepper pump saves an average of 12,000 gallons of water per year for a family of 4. That is water savings coming into the home as well as waste water going out of the home, which is an important consideration for homes on septic tanks.

The Chilipepper easily installs under a sink with just 2 braided water hoses (purchased separately) and brass T-fittings (included). The installation is straightforward and simple - designed with a Do-It-Yourselfer in mind.

The pump requires a 110V electrical outlet. For more information about Product Specifications or Installation Instructions, please see our website.

30 Day Money-Back Guarantee 2 Year Limited Warranty First 12 months from purchase date, 100% coverage. Does not apply to damage sustained by incorrect installation or use by purchaser/installer. Repairs/Replacement can be obtained for months 13-24 at cost (for repairs) or 50% of cost (for replacements/upgrades).

This is my fourth unit, I hope it would last longer to justify the saving. I still like the pump because of its on-demand funtion

    Great for saving water!

This is my 4th pump. I live in California and got the first one in the middle of a severe drought. This pump works great - no wasting cold water when waiting for the shower to warm up and the pump is faster also. The pump can be used to heat up water for the kitchen and other bathroom that are in line with the master bath.

Customer service is great. The 1st pump was rebuilt (1 year warranty) and failed just before the year was up. Chilipepper sent me a new model for the difference in price between the old and new. The next one, with a 5 year warranty, lasted much longer. It started leaking water, I sent it back to Chilipepper, they fixed it for the pro-rated cost and sent it back.

The last one was working fine, but when we remodeled the bathroom the construction crew tossed the pump in the dumpster during the demolition, after I had clearly stated I wanted to keep the pump. So I bought the CP9000 and it has been working great. This is the first one with a remote which is very nice.

I've been eyeing a recirculating pump for many years. My first preference would have been to install a dedicated return line from the farthest faucet and a pump that continuously fed hot water through the hot water line and return to the water heater through that return line. I had a plumber quote me several hundred dollars, and that didn't include the cost of the pump. So that was out. Came across this one and it seemed to basically do what I wanted. I've had it for a few days now and it has given me a great first impression. Hot water appears rather quickly, with no waste. It is a little louder than I would have expected (and it is sitting in its foam box). But that's OK. It runs for 10 seconds.

Beware of the T-connectors that ship with the pump. I have read several other reviewers have problems with these and they've ended up going to the local hardware store to buy something different. Count me as one of those customers. Included in the box are a couple of extra fliers (bright pink paper) warning the user about the extreme care that must be used when installing these so they don't leak. Tells me the seller is very aware that they are delicate. I used care. Both of mine sprung a leak. Went to the hardware store and bought two. Perfect.

Is submitted a receipt to the seller for the $15 I had to shell out for the level of T's I felt should have been shipped with the product. Got a slightly berating email telling me I must not have read the instructions very well. I didn't get a refund. :)

I read other reviewers indicate customer service is lacking. Include me in that category, too.

Bottom line, the pump is great. You'll like it. Factor in the cost for parts that you're going to need to buy. $15 for two T connectors. $10 for two 12" hoses. Both easily purchased at your local hardware store.

    Happy recirculating!!!

Previously purchased two earlier versions of CP9000 without built in remote. Very satisfied with operation from standpoint of water conservation and speed of getting hot water. Recently purchased new version and very pleased with the way both local button and remote work. Very convenient. Would recommend to anyone who needs hot water some distance from the heating source.

    Chilipepper CP9000

This Chilipepper On Demand Hot Water Recirculating Pump is awesome. I originally purchased a Watts Hot Hot Water Recirculating Pump to mount on my hot water heater but before I installed it I did some more research on it and decided to return it because I didn't like the mechanical timer feature of it. I was looking for a unit that I could use with a remote so I could have hot water to my master bedroom when I wanted it and not have to shower or wash up during the time a mechanical timer was set. The Chilipepper unit was easy to install and I get hot water to my master bedroom in less than 30 second's. The best thing about this besides saving water is my wife is happy. Remember, happy wife happy life. Thanks for a great product.

This is my 3rd pump. The 1st pump lasted approximately 5 yrs. I enjoyed being able to engage the pump by remote. My 2nd pump did not have the remote control feature and I missed that very much. Although my 2nd pump had no problems, I chose to replace it with the cp9000 with remote control and only a few days with it, I'm back to enjoying the remote control feature and it is performing greatly.
The people in customer service have been excellent. Thank you

    Chilipepper CP9000

This is my second chilipepper. The first lasted over 10 years being used several times a day. When it finally stopped working it pained me to have the water run down the drain for two minutes while we waited for the hot water to arrive. since my chilipepper is at the farthest point in my house from the water heater.

MY new CP9000 is much quieter, seems to be faster and the remote control was just a pleasant improvement. We keep the remote in the living room since we already had a button by the sink, and we start the hot water circulator by remote on our way to take out showers in the morning.

Customer service was outstanding. I called to make sure I got the correct unit to replace my old one. Installation was less than 5 minutes. Out with the old and in with the new!

    Gotta' love this chilipepper.
