A Small, Powerful Pump that Eliminates the Need to Run the Faucet for Several Minutes to Get Hot Water. The high-power Chilipepper pump circulates hot water from the water heater to the sink or shower, Quickly Bringing Hot Water for use. Once installed, the Chilipepper can usually supply hot water to any other fixtures along the line prior to the point of installation as well. Most homes only need one Chilipepper for the whole house!

A Chilipepper pump saves an average of 12,000 gallons of water per year for a family of 4. That is water savings coming into the home as well as waste water going out of the home, which is an important consideration for homes on septic tanks.

The Chilipepper easily installs under a sink with just 2 braided water hoses (purchased separately) and brass T-fittings (included). The installation is straightforward and simple - designed with a Do-It-Yourselfer in mind.

The pump requires a 110V electrical outlet. For more information about Product Specifications or Installation Instructions, please see our website.

    CP9000 B

I am very pleased with the Chilipepper CP900 B that I recently installed. Installation was easy and quick. Prior to installation, our bathroom sink hot water had to run for about 3 minutes for the water to get warm. Now with the Chilipepper installed, we have hot water in about 20 seconds. This is a significant reduction in time and it has eliminated the waste of water going down the drain. I would also comment that when researching this product that the Chilipepper team was much better at responding to questions and emails than other suppliers!!

Model CP9000B: I have a tankless water heater which is quite a distance from the bathroom. I'm now in “hot-water-heaven” as I no longer carry about 3 gallons of cold water through the house from the bathroom to the washing machine. The Chilipepper has only been installed a week or so but so far, I'm very pleased. It’s relatively small so doesn’t take up too much space under the sink counter. The noise level is fairly high but it’s muffled significantly by a foam container and the cabinet doors so it's very bearable. Mine runs about 1-1/2 minutes before it shuts off. What I love is that all it takes is the press of a button or wireless remote at any time. I chose to have both means of activating the unit.

We experienced slight leakage from around the couplings which did not come with seals but once they were added, the problem seems to have been solved.

The Customer Service response was outstanding.

On the third pump also. The latest one died do to a leak in the white pump housing after nine years so feel I got my moneys worth. So I got a 3rd party 9v leak "screamer" and put in the bottom of the plastic housing on the oldest one . I closed off the opening around the hoses with some thin packing material and now just have a low hummmmmm from the pump.

This unit works better than the WATTS recirculating system that I had installed previously. It uses far less electricity. It would be nice if it ran a little longer or there wasn't a 20 minute wait between operations to provide faster warm water since my bathroom is about 100' of piping away. All in all it is still a great improvement, saving water and electricity.

We've been running a CP for about ten years. A while back it stopped working but CP sent me some motor brushes- easy fix- and it continues to run to this day.
Then it started getting loud- bearings going bad- so I ordered a new unit as insurance in case I couldn't fix the old one.
Swapped units, fixed the old one. These things are easy to work on, and in my world, bearings and motor brushes are considered wear items.
I give CP customer service 5 stars, but I give the new CP9000 4 stars because I think the old model's form factor- size/shape- is easier to work with when you're trying to hide it. We have open vanities and I ended up mounting it under the floor under the sink.
RE: Bad reviews. There seems to be two main complaints. Bad customer service and early failure.
Every time I ever contacted CP they got back to me within 48 hours, so I don't know anything about bad customer service. But after doing two installs I can easily see the mistakes the bad reviewer made that led to their self-inflicted ire. As with any plumbing job, you really have to make sure nothing's leaking before you walk away. And if you don't prime the pump/bleed the air out- it will definitely reduce the service lifespan of your unit.
All in all, I recommend the ChiliPepper highly to anybody who doesn't like wasting water while waiting for hot water.

I love this gizmo. I got a second one because the first one worked so well. Saves gas AND water.

So far, we love this unit! It's not silent, but inside of it's included foam box, it's as quiet as a motorized pump is going to get. Other reviewers compare it to a blender, but think of that blender wrapped in a bath towel, and put under your closed sink cabinet. That's about what you hear; not obnoxious, at all. One word of caution for the week-end DIY folks (and this goes for ALL makes of pumps): You need electricity under the cabinet where you're going to put this. Kitchens often have an outlet for a disposal, but bathrooms, not so much. Just something to plan for before you decide where to install your pump.

    great gizmo

This thing works great and has improved the function of our hot water heater. Don't have to run water for two or three minutes before it gets hot.

Installation was easy about 20 minutes, We have a button by the sink (wired) and use the wireless in the bathroom. The pump runs for about one minute and then nice hot water. The only thing you might notice is the noise it sound like a blender running . So that knocks it down to 4 stars.
